RMHS students and teachers safely arrived in Basel today at 1:30 local time (7:30 am Reading time)! It was a joyful reunion on the platform at SBB Basel, and it seemed as though no time at all had gone by since we last saw each other. Our students conducted themselves well throughout a long journey, which was complete with a seemingly-endless line at passport control and a dash (unsuccessful) for our scheduled train. Throughout the journey our students conducted themselves courteously and calmly, and with a good sense of humor. This bodes well for the rest of our trip!
After reuniting on the train platform, RMHS students went home with their Swiss host brothers and sisters to get settled in. We'll be back in Basel tomorrow morning, ready for a tour of the city, provided by the Swiss students!
