Basel 2017!



2017 Basel Group
We have made it to Basel!  After a long, somewhat turbulent flight, and a long (really long) layover in Paris, we have made it to Switzerland safely. Students have been tired, but after a good night's sleep, we spent the day at the Beyeler Museum in Basel, which is one of the most popular art museums in all of Switzerland.  The museum was rather busy due to a Monet exhibition, but we had a great time in one of the more beautiful museums around.  After that, the sunshine held on for a little longer before finally giving way to some (eek) snow!  The Swiss students led us on a walking tour that culminated at Gymnasium Leonhard.  Students (and chaperones) are still a bit jet-lagged, but everyone seems to be getting on well.  Tomorrow, we head to beautiful Lucerne.   Hopefully, students get a good night's rest.  They will need it as we will have a walking tour of Lurcerne and some time at the Transportation Museum.  Below are some pictures of our travels thus far:
